PAUL HORSEMAN

Paul is a 6th Dan Black belt and club coach. He started judo at the age of 6 and joined the club within the first few weeks of it opening. He is now our Chairman and heavily involved in the running of the club. He still competes occasionally and is three time British Masters champion as well as silver medalist at the 2012 Commonwealth Masters championships.

IAN LANE

Ian is 3rd Dan Black belt and club coach. He started judo the very first week the club opened back in 1973 and has been active with the club ever since. He currently holds office as Club Treasurer. Ian has won medals at national level and is a former member of the British Masters squad.

IAN ROSE

Ian is 6th Dan Black belt and senior club coach. Ian is one of the country’s most decorated VI players winning World and European titles in a glittering career. Ian has competed in five Paralympic Games winning bronze in Atlanta in 1996 and silver in Athens in 2004.
Ian’s judo coaching is complemented by the fact he is a professional motivational speaker.

PAUL pusey

Paul is a 3rd Dan Black belt and club coach. He started judo at the age of 7 and joined the club when he was a young teenager.  Paul has Junior National medals as well as British Masters medals.  Paul has also held a world record for the highest amount of judo throws in a set time.

paul franklin

Paul is a 1st Dan Black Belt.  Having started judo at the age of 10 in Ealing Youth Judo, Paul has won medals at National and International Level.  

K-c franklin

K-c started judo when she was 5 years old under the supervision of Don Werner of Pinewood Judo Club.  She joined Micklefield Judo Club in 2017.  K-c has worked hard to achieve her 1st kyu, her time keeping badge, her contest controller badge as well as her Level 1 Coaching License
