Sam Dobrowolski wins Silver at World Championships

Sam Dobrowolski (below first on the left) with her silver medal and the other -63kg group medallists.

Fighting in her first World Veteran Championships Sam started strongly defeating the 2013 world silver medalist in her first contest, and then a tough French opponent in her second to earn a place in the final. Up against the reigning World Champion, the final was evenly contested and remained scoreless up until the third minute of Golden Score where Sam was penalised for a minor rule infringement and forced to concede the bout.
